R Bob Adams is International Director for SLS Loudspeakers and offices in Houston, Texas. Before SLS, he spent more than 20 years as an independent acoustical and theater consultant.
R Bob is a published author in such magazines as The Church Musician, Religion Magazine, Your Church, The Communicator, Technologies for Worship, Church Production, and Sound & Video Contractor. He is featured in Crown International’s video for operators, “Live Sound! for Houses of Worship.” Some of those articles are reproduced here for your information. Additionally, Bob is much sought after as a speaker, having given hundreds of seminars for such organizations as the Acoustical Society of America, the Baptist General Convention of Texas, National Conference of Church Musicians, JBL Corporation, Barco Corporation, AKG Corporation, National System Contractors Association (NSCA), Council of Educational Facility Planners International, the Baptist Sunday School Board (now Lifeway), the National Creative Arts Festival, the Inspiration Conferences in the U.S. and Canada, and the International Communications Industry Association.
